Earlier this week, WMOV and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held a Meet the Candidates event at Cedar Lakes. All 10 of the candidates seeking five positions on the Ripley City Council spoke at the event. On Thursday's show, we revisited five of the candidates and what they had to say. In the first half hour, we'll hear from former Councilman James Ball, sitting Councilman Danny Martin and businessman David Smith. In the second half hour, we'll hear from retired educator Cheryl Miller and RVFD Deputy Chief Richie Gobble. We'll hear from more candidates in later episodes.
